Nikifor was one of Polish artists. He was thought to be a little bit retarded, because his works were primitive and childish, he lived all his life in poverty.

"My Nikifor" is a movie done by Krzysztof Krauze. The main character is played by a talented actress (sic!) - Krystyna Feldman. This is her starring as Nikifor.

I have been struggling with this painting for a long time. Or should I rather say: I started it and then for a long time I haven't been able to finish it. Well, until now.
